The Department of Media, Film & Communication at the University of Otago has a well established record of research and teaching, and boasts a staff cohort that is internationally recognised in the discipline.

What we offer
The Department offers a choice of two majors -- Film & Media and Communication Studies. We strongly encourage students to enroll in both majors to strengthen their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree and broaden their learning and increase the range of skills required. The two majors are designed to be flexible; they combine theory & practice to accommodate a wide range of interests and provide comprehensive career choices.
